More Available August 10th- Organic Cotton Poppy and Quail Fabric Mask - Adult size, nose wire, elastic head bands, reusable, good with glasses, ecofriendly
*NEXT BATCH MASK RELEASE- August 10th* We will be releasing small batches of facemaks for preorder on a roughly bi-weekly basis as we have the capacity to make them. If you see that all masks or your favorite pattern are out of stock, check the listing details for the date of our next batch release.
Coyote Brush Studios fabric masks are washable and reusable, and ready to help protect others while you are out and about, while also celebrating the diversity of native California flora and fauna.
These masks are made with an organic cotton sateen exterior and have a third interior filtration layer made from antimicrobial, absorbent organic cotton fleece infused with antimicrobial silver ions (SILVADUR™). Masks are approximately 6.5 x 7.5 inches, include a flat nose wire, and cinch for a secure fit around the face with a continuous loop of 1/4" elastic that goes around the head and neck. These masks are comfortable and quick to put on/take off and they are great for those with glasses, fit both large and small heads, and can also be easier to wear for those with jaw mobility differences.
This mask is one size fits most. While we’ve done a lot of testing to find a size that will fit most heads, they may not work for everyone. See the end of the listing for alterations we can make to the masks if you have concerns about fit.
Species featured on the State Symbols mask include the California Dogface Butterfly (state insect), California Quail (state bird) and California Poppy (state flower)
We realize a lot of people are going through difficult times financially, and we want to ensure that everyone who needs a reusable mask can get one. For this batch of masks, we are offering two pay-what-you-can options:
$10- this covers materials and our time to make the mask.
$15- for those who would like to purchase a mask and cover the cost of someone else who is in need in past and future batches of masks, and for those would like to support us during this time. (If you would like to donate more to cover more masks, please let us know! You can add a tip to your order hereif you would like.)
(Please note that ALL of these price points are for one (1) single mask.)
In an effort to get these out as quickly as possible, orders will come with a single printed sheet of instructions for wear and care of your mask. If you would like more printed instruction sheets, you can download and print your own here! If you would like the masks to be bagged individually with biodegradable plastic bags for distribution to others, let us know.
To put on your mask:
Slide both loops over your head, and pull one loop to the top of your head, and one around the neck.
Press the nose wire around the bridge of your nose (mask should cover your nose and mouth at all times).
To adjust the continuous loop to tighten for a secure fit, you can pull on either the headband or neck loop.
Wash hands before and after touching your mask and sanitize your mask after use with hot water and soap (by hand or in a washing machine).
(Masks should be washed before first use)
**Masks should not be worn by children under the age of 2 due to risk of suffocation. Coyote Brush Studios Masks are NOT medical products.**
Options for mask alterations (please contact us if you'd like one of the following alterations to your mask):
Ear loops instead of head loops (ear loop elastic will be thinner than headband elastic for ear comfort)
Tie-able, adjustable head loop elastic instead of closed-loop elastic
We encourage you to wear your mask while shopping, spending any time with others outside of your household, while wildflower viewing, and more. While no mask can ensure complete safety, they help protect others by reducing the spread of germs from large droplets. They work best when everyone is wearing them. The safest thing you can do is stay home if you are able to, keep 6 feet distance from others, cough into your elbow (even with a mask), and wash your hand for more than 20 seconds frequently.
Masks are handmade by us at Coyote Brush Studios and feature original artwork of California native species by Tina Curiel.
